what is communication ?

communication is the process of passing information and understnding from one person to onther person .

OR 

according to I.A.Richard "Communication is an exchange of meaning between  individual thought a common system of symbols.

Process of communication-

1) Sender - sender is the person who wants to share his ideas,feeling,thoughts, expereance with the receiver.

2) Idea/Message - message originate in the mind of in the sender which he want to share with the receiver.

3) Encoding - Encoding  is on the part of the sender who translet the messages into codes or easy language  which is common to boath sender to receiver.

4) Media - media is the way of source through which message convert.

5) Channel - Channel is the method or vehicle through message is transmit it an be formal and informal.

6) Communication Gap - it is the gap between delverd to receved.

7)  Receiver  - Receiver is the person who receive the message decodes and gives the feedback. 

8) Decoding - Decoding is the part of  the receiver  who again translet the message into meaning which common to both sender and receiver.

9) Feedback -  Feedback is the response give by the receiver in the process of communication.
